We Shall Bounce Back- Coach Destiny

By Ogo Clarkson

Coach Isaac Destiny has appealed to fans and supporters of Sunsel Fc that the modest club will bounce back to winning ways soon after losing 0-2 to Excellent Fc in the match Day1 of the Nigeria Nationwide League One at the Ughelli Township staduim a fortnight ago.

Coach Destiny said his boys played very well as the result was not the true reflection of the game.

He assured that the lapses between the defence and the goal keeper will be worked on to improve their next home game against Isoko United next week Wednesday, March 23, at the Oghara Township staduim.

However, Chairman of Sunsel Fc, Egnr. Eugene Eremiokhale has dismissed possession to points accumulated.

“Dominating possession is not enough. The difference at the end is never the number of chances you created but how many are converted. A wake up call. First league defeat after our invincibility in 2021 NLO2 and 2022 Prince GT League. We need to put the defeat behind us quickly and get back to winning ways. Like Wenger ‘How you react after a major loss is also what defines your greatness’. It is the end of golden era. I will wait to see how we bounce back in the rest of the games. Goodluck on your next game”.
