Onoyake Appreciates Okowa For Rehabilitation Of Jakpa Junction

The Executive Chairman of Uvwie Local Government Council, Hon Ramson Onoyake, has commended and appreciated Governor Ifeanyi Okowa over the ongoing rehabilitation of Jakpa Junction, Effurun Uvwie Local Government Area.
The Uvwie Local Government Council boss made the commendation and appreciation during his visit to the ongoing Jakpa Road Junction project site Effurun Uvwie Local Government Area on Tuesday, 14th June, 2022.
Onoyake however stressed the need for a permanent solution to the problem of the constant gridlock in Jakpa Junction.
He also said that there was need to checkmate criminals at the said junction.

To this end, he suggested that the junction should be blocked and that vehicles from the PTI Road axis should navigate through Effurun/ Sapele Road on road on the right and use the bye pass by Refinery Road to Jakpa Junction.
He also suggested that vehicles coming from Ekpan axis should navigate through Effurun-Sapele Road on the right and use the Airport Road Roundabout to Jakpa Junction.
Onoyake reasoned that his suggestion will also check the incidence of driving against traffic.
The project manager of the construction company in charge of the project, Mr Ghadj Mansour who spoke on behalf of the Managing Director assured that Hon Onoyake’s suggestions will be favourable looked into.

He had earlier gave governor Okowa a pat on the back for the completion of the Airport Junction, Effurun project.
Onoyake also remarked that Governor Okowa’s achievements was across the state but however noted that the governor’s achievements in Uvwie Local Government Area were numerous and marvelous.
