2022 Delta NSF: We Cannot Be Distracted –Tonobok Okowa

The Chairman of Delta State Sports Commission, DSSC, Chief Tonobok Okowa has said that they are committed to building a standard sports facilities that will last the test of time.
Tonobok who doubles as President, Athletic Federation Of Nigeria, AFN pointed out that the upgrade of the Stephen Keshi Staduim will enhance the status of the stadium to remain one of the best in Nigeria.
He however downplayed the collapse of a small session under construction that was published on various media.
“We are too experienced to be distracted at this moment when political elections is at the corner.
“It is not strange when a small part of a construction site got broken after getting hit by a tractor during working hours.

“We cannot be distracted from our target to complete this stadium on the 20th of November, as promised to the Minister of Youths and Sports, Sunday Dare.
“Our workers are working night and day to meet the target.
“Delta state under the leadership of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa is committed to hosting the best ever National Sports Festival this year.”
The National Sports Festival is expected to hold November 28 to December 10 across parts of Delta state.
