Oyo Commissioner Distributes Bags Of Rice Across Wards In Surulere/Ogo-Oluwa, Empowers 120 Constituents

Oyo PDP Chieftain and Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy matter, Hon. Olasunkanmi Olaleye has distributed bags of staple foods across Surulere Ogo-Oluwa Federal Constituency.

MOUTHPIECE NGR gathered that the Ogbomoso-born politician also empowered about 120 people with cash in the federal constituency to commemorate the festive period.

Addressing supporters, Hon. Olaleye noted that the gesture is to put smiles on the faces of the indigent citizens who he said, deserve such philanthropic gesture and charity at this period of time.

He said: “The reason for these gestures is to ensure that people in the constituency celebrate the festive season with joy and to touch lives of the less privileged, especially the widows and the youths as well as to create wealth to unemployed youths.

“It’s good to extend hands of giving to the people, the things I brought is not for party members alone but for the entire community to share, this is my little way of making people happy during festivities “.

While urging the constituents to continue to support the current administration, he equally appealed to them to mobilize for Makinde’s reelection bid and ensure that other PDP candidates are elected in the forthcoming 2023 general election for the continuous dividends of democracy.
