Gunmen Kidnap Former EDHA Member, Edughele

A former Edo State House of Assembly member, Festus Edughele has been kidnapped .
He was kidnapped on Monday morning by suspected gunmen at Ugoneki Town, Uhunwonde Local Government Area of Edo State while on his way to Benin City to board a flight to Abuja
This is coming three days after 32 persons who were hoping to board a train to Warri from Ubiaja were kidnapped at the train station.
The security agencies are still battling to locate where the abducted passengers were taken to while hoping that other suspects would be apprehended with a suspect already apprehended .

Edughele was said to be travelling from Ubiaja to Benin to board a plane to Abuja when he was abducted at about 9:am on Monday by the suspected gunmen who took him into the bush.
It was scooped that the kidnappers have contacted the family of the kidnapped Ex Lawmaker wherein the gunmen were said to be demanding for N200, 000.000 as Ransome for his release.
A former Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Festus Ebea, who confirmed the incident said his former colleague intended to board the now suspended train service from Ubiaja to Abuja.
Ebea said, “He was kidnapped this morning in Ubiaja on his way from Orhionmwon to Benin. He had intended to take the train from Ubiaja but he could not do so since the train services has been suspended.
“The family is aware of his kidnap, the police division in that area has been informed and we hope action will be taken to rescue him,” he added.
