INEC Declares Isoko Federal Constituency Election Inconclusive, SDP Confident Of Victory

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has declared the Isoko Federal Constituency election inconclusive.
According to the Social Democratic Party, SDP, the decision became necessary due to the pressure from their party that checkmated the malpractices allegedly carried out during the elections.
Speaking to Oasis Magazine via a telephone conversation on Tuesday, Chairman of the SDP in the state, Amb. Oke Idawene, said: “We are to go for rerun in Enhwe Ward With 17 Units..
“A date will be announced by INEC today.”

Oasis Magazine gathered that PDP and SDP are the two strong contenders for the seat. PDP at the moment leads the SDP with a total of 2017 votes.
SDP is hopeful that with the rerun election there they would clinch the victory.
