Isoko North Legislative Arm Suspends Majority Leader, 6 Others Over Gross Misconduct

The Leadership of Isoko North Legislative Arm, of Isoko North Local Government Council, has suspended the Majority Leader,  Hon Olori Fredrick representing Ovrode/Aradhe and six (6) other councillors for a period of six  months over alleged misconduct.

The house also declared the sit of Hon.Thomas Aruno, respresnting Owhelogbo ward 2 vacant due to his resignation from the party (PDP)

This was contained in a letter signed by the Leader of the Legislative Arm,Rt.Hon Francis Udubra  and the Clerk of the House.

The lawmakers stated that “sequel to the gross misconduct, abuse of office, disrespect of House rules, segregation of members and betrayal of House rules their suspension becomes eminent.

“The House has therefore unanimously resolved and a motion moved and passed to suspend the following persons for the period of six (6) months without salary and other benefits.”

The suspended persons are; “Hon Olori Frederick, Majority Leader, Ellu/Ovrode/Aradhe Ward II, Hon (Miss) Blessing Monday Igementi, Iyede Ward III, Hon Enahoro David Okoro, Otor-Owhe Ward, Hon Adaimoni Felix,  Ozoro Ward IIB, Hon (Mrs) Otugwo U. Gladys, Ozoro Ward III, Hon Ivuerah Emmanuel, Ozoro Ward I and Hon Thomas Aruno, Owhelogbo Ward II, seat declared vacant.

“In place of the suspended Majority Leader, Hon Anthony Ugoje  was elected.”

Thirteen out of the 19 elected councilors signed the notice of suspension of the officers and members of the Isoko North Legislative Arm.
