UNICROSS Lecturer, UCTH Staff, Others Kidnapped Within 24 Hours In Calabar
A lecturer in the Faculty of Biological Sciences, in the University of Cross River State, UNICROSS, Dr. Iniudo George-Ukpong, and a staff of the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, UCTH, Barbara Brownson have been kidnapped in Calabar.
Also kidnapped is one Mike Njagu information reaching our newsroom suggests.
While Dr. Iniudo was abducted at about 11:00 PM on Thursday night, Ms. Brownson was whisked away on Friday night at Ikot Efa by Nora kitchen, popularly known as, “the Joint.”

Iniudo, an Associate Professor of environmental and public health parasitology was abducted on his way home from the office, sources close to his family say.
A researcher and author of the book, “Nature Under Siege: Portrait of Environmental Crisis In the Niger Delta,” he is said to have stopped to get food at a restaurant when the unfortunate incident happened.
