Djebah Eyes Udu Local Government Council Chairmanship Seat

The Publicity Secretary of Urhobo Progress Union, UPU, Worldwide, Chief Luke Obemiguren Djebah has declared his intention to contest for the chairmanship seat of Udu Local Government Council under the Peoples Democratic Party( PDP).
He made this known in an exclusive media chat with our correspondent at the weekend as he explained that he was gunning for the number one political seat in Udu to better the lots of the Udu people and not to acquire wealth for himself.
The Chairman of Ufuoma Udu, nation wide disclosed that empowerment program was uppermost in his manesfesto.
He assured that the local government area has more than enough natural and capital resources to achieve his employment program for the Udu people.
“The problem we have been having is how to harness them for the benefit of the people,” he said.
The Ukpiovwin born political icon also listed the awards of scholarships to indigent pupils and students in the local government area as a priority on his manesfesto.

“If I have been paying other people’s children school fees without any form of appointment, I sincerely believe that I can do it well and better when I get the opportunity to serve,” he added.
Djebah who stated that he will disclose his other laudable plans for the Udu people at the appropriate time, urged his party members to support his nomination for the contest of the local government council chairmanship seat in the primaries.
