Okpe Union Commiserates With Former PG Over Death Of Wife

The Okpe Union has said that the body is deeply saddened and commiserates with former President-General and Chairman, of the Board of Trustees of the Union, Okakuro Dick Gberevbie (JP), on the passing of his beloved wife, Mrs Helen Gberevbie on 12th August, 2023.

A statement over the weekend signed by Okakuro King Iriri, National Publicity Secretary for the President-General, added: “We are heartbroken at the passing of a woman whose life was filled with exemplary service to her family and the community.”

The statement read further: “We urge the family to take solace in this tempting moment as the Almighty God knows how best to replenish your happiness and reduce your sorrows.”

Okpe Union added: “We also pray to the Almighty God to give the family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

“May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace.”
