Evwreni PG Contest: Family Denies Endorsement Of Kenneth Ukpebitere

Ukpebitere Dynasty of Evwreni Kingdom in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State has denied that it has endorsed Prince Kenneth Ukpebitere for the president generalship position in the forthcoming general elections of the kingdom.
The head of the Ukpebitere Dynasty, Prince Clement Ukpebitere JP made this known while reacting to news making the rounds that the said Prince Kenneth Ukpebitere was endorsed for the president generalship position in the contest by the family.
An aggrieved head of Ukpebitere Dynasty who spoke to newsmen on the issue vehemently said that the family has never at anytime endorsed the said Prince Kenneth Ukpebitere for the president generalship position in the forthcoming general elections of Evwreni Kingdom.
He rather disclosed that the family in two meetings held on Sunday, 5th November and Thursday 9th November, 2023, precided by him, endorsed Chief Simon Asite ( JP ) and Chief Oghenero Awenuvie as president general and vice president general respectively in the forthcoming general elections of Evwreni Kingdom.

” So those peddling the false news of our family’s endorsement of Prince Kenneth Ukpebitere for the president generalship position in the forthcoming general elections of Evwreni Kingdom should desist from it forthwith; the news is baseless and unfounded.
“We the children of late Chief Smart Paul Ukpebitere are for the peace and unity of our great kingdom like our father.
“We pledge our unalloyed and total loyalty and support to our highly esteemed Ovie of Evwreni Kingdom and also to the Iyasere of the kingdom,” he stated.
The head of Ukpebitere Dynasty in Evwreni Kingdom added: “I stand on my statement published in the media that any statement issued by Ukpebitere family without my approval or endorsement should be disregarded. We shall not take it lightly with any individual or groups making such statements,” he warned.
Prince Jeremiah Ukpebitere, Prince Simon Ukpebitere and Prince Shepherd Ukpebitere who also spoke, affirmed the position of their elder brother, Prince Clement Ukpebitere.
The Head of Ukpebitere Dynasty of Evwreni Kingdom used the opportunity to commend and appreciate the Evwreni monarch for the relative peace and unity in the area.
