Oborevwori’s Supreme Court Victory Meets Deltans Expectations –OEF
The recent Supreme Court Victory of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State meets the expectations of Deltans just as the judicial pronouncement has affirmed his victory in the Saturday, March 18, 2023 Governorship Election.
This was contained in a press statement issued to journalists signed by Chief Joseph Ogaga Ogunje, Mr. Tedman Odugo and Mr. Victor Okpomor (JP), President General, Secretary and Public Relations Officer (PRO) respectively of Oghara Elite Forum(OEF), top most socio political organization in Oghara Kingdom at the end of it’s monthly meeting in Oghara.
The group said that the judgement also confirmed that Deltans and residents non Deltans expressed their will through their votes during that election adding that it also validates the people’s wish for Governor Oborevwori during that election.
While congratulating Rt. Hon. Oborevwori on his well deserved victory at the Supreme Court, Oghara Elite Forum called on the opposition parties in the state to work in synergy with the governor to deliver quality dividends of democracy to the people of the State.
Accordng to the group, “this is the personification of democracy and the rule of law that we have seen, a record number of Deltans cast ballots in the March 18th 2023 election, electing Rt. Hon. Elder Sherrif F.O. Oborevwori to serve as the state’s executive governor.”
The group added, “we also commend the leadership and members of ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP)and all residents in the state, both at home and in the Diaspora on this significant legal victory. We implore them including members of the opposition parties to unite with Governor Oborevwori in delivering genuine democratic dividends through the M.O.R.E. agenda of the incumbent administration.”

The group said that Oghara was in a jubilant mood as the Governor’s victory at the Supreme court was not unexpected, they advised Governor Oborevwori as a true leader to carry everyone along in order to achieve his M-O-R-E agenda.
Oghara Elite Forum (OEF) was full of praises for the judiciary as they proved they can be unswayed by extrinsic factors in delivering judgements that meets the expectation of the people, adding, “we also appreciate all those who decided to test the judicial process.”
The group added, “now that all matters relating to the March 18 2023 elections in Delta State has been put to rest , all hands must now be on deck to move the state to greater heights,”
The group expressed the optimism that Governor Oborevwori’s leadership would continue to bring positive and transformative developments to Delta State, adding, “we are hopeful that Delta State under Governor Oborevwori’ leadership would be an eldorado, laced with developmental projects.”
