Murder Of Policemen By Suspected Herdsmen In Delta: Silence Of Oborevwori, Security Commanders Worrisome
The killing of police officers drafted from MOPOL 51 Oghara, Delta and Anti-kidnapping Squad of Delta Police Command by suspected Fulani herdsmen in Ohoror and Agadama Bush in Ughelli North LGA is so tragic.
According to unconfirmed report, about 6 corpses were found and said to have been deposited at the Central Hospital Ughelli.
What is more appalling and surprising is that Gov Sheriff Oborevwori who is of Urhobo extraction has not made any official statement on such a critical crisis.

The CP Delta, Abaniwonda Surajodden Olufemi has not issued any statement.
Why is it difficult for Governor Sheriff and security commanders in the state to make pronouncement on what happened?
The public demands to know what has happened in Delta that led to the killing of police officers while performing their legitimate duty.
Police officers on national assignment shouldn’t be killed in that manner and the IGP is silent. They didn’t go to the areas where they were killed on personal interest.
They went there on official assignment to provide security. I think by now Gov Sheriff ought to have invited combined force of security operatives to raid the entire bush in the said areas.
I mean a raid on all fronts, land, creek and air raids to fish out those suspected herdsmen killers if it is true police officers were killed in that area.
Governor Sheriff and Police should clear the air on this national shame. We need to make our communities safe for all to live in.
If herders can gruesomely murder trained mobile police officers in such manner, with impunity, how can farmers go to farms without risk of being attacked and killed? Then food scarcity will remain. The food is produced in the bush.
There should be regular air raids to flush herdsmen killers from the Ohoror and Agadama Towns in Ughwerun Kingdom/Clan and the entire bush in Ughwerun Kingdom/Clan in Ughelli North LGA of Delta which seems to be a den of herdsmen killers.
The lives of Ohoror, Agadama locals and the entire Ughwerun are not safe. The silence on this by Governor Sheriff and security operatives is dangerous.
