Close To End Of Tenure, Obaseki Comes Up With 30-Year Development Plan For Edo

Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, has said that his administration “will establish a comprehensive plan for the next 30 years, guiding successive administrations in developing the state.”

Obaseki who said this in a post on X late Wednesday, added that “the lack of a master plan in Edo has hindered growth and development in the state.”

His words: “Over the past seven and a half years, our government has made significant strides, and we are committed to not leaving the state the way we met it.”

Meanwhile, on Monday, during an engagement session with stakeholders in Uhunmwode and Orhionmwon Local Government Areas, held at the Edo State College of Education in Abudu, Orhionmwon LGA, he expressed gratitude for their purposeful contributions and collaboration toward the State’s Regional Development and the Benin City Master Plans.
