Armed Robbery Attacks In Asaba: It Will End Soon, Police Replies Gwamnishu

The Delta State Police Command has said that the incessant armed Robbery Attacks in the state capital will soon be a thing of the past.
Recall that on Monday, Harrison Emefiena Gwamnishu, Founder of Behind Bars Human Rights Foundation, had complained about the development, saying armed robbers in the state capital do not allow them to sleep at night.
He also threatened to with others take a protest to the government house on Wednesday.
But, in a swift response, the Command’s, Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, SP Bright Edafe, said in a post on X: “The Commissioner of Police CP Abaniwonda Olufemi has already deployed Police patrol teams around the metro from 6 pm till dawn.”

“I am certain this will end soon as all DPOs have been put on their toes,” he added.
He called on residents to call the Police emergency control room on 08036684974 when necessary, saying policemen will be deployed immediately.
