Leadership Qualities: Odogu Praises Governor Oborevwori

A Peoples Democratic Party chieftain in Isoko South local government area and an Executive Assistant to Delta State governor on Community Development, Hon Emakpor Odogu, has hailed the Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori on the way he has piloted the affairs of the State in the last one year.

Chief Odogu popularly known as “I have a Dream”, while speaking with journalists at his country home Emede, said he was very excited about the pace at which Governor Sheriff Oborevwori is repositioning Delta State with landmark projects.

While commending Governor on his maturity in handling matters, leadership qualities and excellent spirit in governance, Emakpor Odogu called on the citizens of the State as well as those in Diaspora to believe in Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration and give him and members of his cabinet the needed support.ersonality of the Year Awards 2023

According to him, he said the Governor has done well in terms of Infrastructural projects and human capital development and the payment of civil servants arrears after a long time.

Odogu added that the State government has for the first time engaged Julius Berger in the Delta State roads construction and it is in tandem with the tenets of Democratic principles.

He said, “It is a heart warming to all Deltans because people are desirous of seeing the dividends of democratic government, which this government is in a hurry to deliver to our people in Delta State from what I see”.

Hon Emakpor Odogu who is an advocate of politics without bitterness also called on the PDP family in Delta State to see members of the opposition as their brothers and sisters and equally enjoined the opposition to join hands with the Governor to make Delta a State that other States would look up to in the distant future as an example of industrialization, maritime tourism, agricultural commodities production and center of Nollywood/ entertainment in Nigeria.
