Abducted Children Of Medical Doctor Reunited With Family, Father Expresses Gratitude
Dr. Musa Dutse Gimba, the father of the abducted children, has announced that his three surviving sons have been reunited with the family after a successful rescue operation by security forces.
In a press statement, Dr. Gimba expressed his gratitude to the Office of the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Gwabin Musa, the Kaduna State Government, and various security agencies for their roles in the rescue operation.
He also thanked professional bodies, NGOs, religious organizations, friends, family, and well-wishers for their support and encouragement during the ordeal.

Dr. Gimba’s children were abducted on June 23, 2024, and one of them was tragically killed by the kidnappers before the mother was released to secure a ransom of N150 million. However, the security forces were able to rescue the remaining three children, reuniting them with their parents.
The father expressed his grief for the loss of his eldest son but thanked God for the reunion with his surviving children. He also praised the security forces for their professionalism and bravery in conducting the rescue operation.
The reunion brings closure to a harrowing experience for the family, and they are grateful for the outpouring of love and support from various individuals and organizations.
