Make History By Effecting New Minimum Wage In July Salaries, Activist Tells Oborevwori

Following the agreement of the Federal Government and Labour Unions on N70, 000 as the new minimum wage, a rights activist in Delta State, Comrade Israel Joe, has called on Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to implement the new minimum wage immediately, saying this will make him become an hero to Deltans.
In an open letter to the Governor, he added: “The salary of workers would be prepared this coming week and my message is short and simple.

“The minimum wage should be effected across board for the month of July including a push-up on the salaries and allowances of appointees for the society is biting harder.”
He continued: “With this, I can assure you, that you might have written your name in the sand of history.”
