2027 Delta Guber: Okaegwu Emerges APP Governorship Candidate

The Delta State Chairman of the Action Peoples Party (APP), Hon. Okaegwu Isioma Peter, has emerged as the governorship candidate of the party for the 2027 general election in Delta State.

Okaegwu was elected by consensus during the party’s governorship primary election, securing the confidence of party leaders and members ahead of the 2027 poll.

Speaking with journalists in Asaba shortly after his emergence as the consensus candidate, Okaegwu expressed profound appreciation to the leadership, members and faithful of the party for their unwavering support and encouragement.

He described his emergence as a collective victory for the party and pledged to work with all members toward strengthening the party and achieving its objectives in the 2027 general election.

The APP governorship candidate assured party members of an open-door policy, promising to carry everyone along irrespective of status or position within the party.

He called for unity, cooperation and commitment among party members, stressing that the task ahead required the collective efforts of all stakeholders to present a formidable platform capable of winning the 2027 governorship election in Delta State.
