Delta NUJ Celebrates Latimore’s Appointment As DG State Orientation And Communications Bureau

“The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Delta State Council, is indeed delighted to extend heartfelt congratulations to our friend, Dr. Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, on your well-deserved elevation to the position of Director General of the Delta State Orientation and Communications Bureau.”
This was contained in a statement on Thursday signed by Churchill Oyowe, Chairman and Victor Sorokwu, Secretary.
The statement continued: “Your exemplary dedication, extensive expertise, and unwavering commitment to public service have truly set you apart as a distinguished resource person and invaluable asset in the field of communication and orientation.
“Beside your remarkable performance as the Executive Assistant on Communication under the administration of the immediate past Governor of Delta State, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, your incumbent role in the Communication and Orientation Bureau in the Sheriff Oborevwori administration, in the same capacity, has been marked by significant achievements and impactful contributions.”
According to the statement, with the elevation as Director General of the Communication and Orientation Bureau, he should be spurred to raise the bar of public service delivery to Deltans as a testament of his outstanding capabilities and the trust placed in him by the Delta State Government.
Furthermore, Delta NUJ, said: “With your impressive academic background, including a Doctorate in Communication Strategy, a professional doctorate in Information Management Strategy and multiple degrees in Public and International Affairs and Mass Communication, we are quite confident you would bring your wealth of knowledge and experience to bear on this pivotal position.
“Moreover, your active involvement in numerous professional organisations, both locally and internationally, further underscores your commitment to excellence and continuous growth.
“As you embark on this new exciting chapter, the NUJ, Delta State Council, is confident your visionary leadership will elevate the Orientation and Communications Bureau to new heights. Your ability to articulate government policies, programmes and achievements, combined with your passion for state-wide sensitisation campaigns; will undoubtedly foster greater understanding and engagement among the people of Delta State.”
“Once again, congratulations on this remarkable achievement. We wish you continued success and fulfillment in your new role. May your role herald innovative initiatives, impactful communication strategies, and lasting positive change for the benefit of all,” the statement concluded.
