Ibori@66: NUJ-Oasis Chapel Congratulates Former Governor

Oasis Magazine Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, has congratulated a former Governor of Delta State, Chief James Onanefe Ibori, on his 60th birth anniversary.
A statement signed by the chapel’s Caretaker Committee Chairman and Secretary, Daniel Umukoro and Felix Okotie respectively, described Ibori as a man with a large heart, saying many of his achievements in Delta remain unbeaten.

Adding: “He is a dogged fighter who is committed to the interests of the Niger Delta people.”
“His inputs during the resource control struggle that eventually led to what the region gets today as a derivation fund remains an uncommon feat in the archives of Niger Delta history,” Oasis Chapel added.
The union prayed for God to grant him long life in good health as he continues to contribute towards the progress of the state and the nation.
“Happy birthday, Your Excellency,” the statement concluded.
