Edo Police Rescue Kidnapped 60-Year-Old Man, Wife, Two Kids

The police in Edo State have rescued a 60-year-old kidnap victim alongside his wife and two children.
The Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, in the state, SP Moses Yamu disclosed this on Sunday in a post on X.
He gave the name of the man as David Ayanbode, his 40-year-old wife as Elizabeth Akpoyomare and his daughters as Excel Akpoyomare (10yrs) and Flourish Akpoyomare (8yrs).

Recall that they were earlier reported kidnapped along Okada-Ayekun Camp.
According to SP Yamu, they “were rescued unhurt by Edo Police after a gun duel.”
Adding: “The kidnappers succumbed to the superior fire power of the Police and fled.”
