Ibori’s Daughter Hosts APC Leaders In Ethiope West Ahead Of Official Declaration Today In Oghara

Following her resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, daughter of former Delta State Governor, James Ibori, Eriethake Ibori-Suenu, will officially declare for her new party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, today at the Oghara Stadium in Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta state.
Ibori-Suenu, who represents Ethiope Federal Constituency, was elected under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), but dumped the party citing crisis at the party’s national hierarchy.
The lawmaker who announced the event via a Facebook post on Monday, added that she would also empower some members of her constituency.

She wrote: “Earlier today, ahead of our official declaration/empowerment scheduled for tomorrow, I played host to the leaders and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Ethiope West Local Government Area.”
According to her, she assured them of her firm resolve to build a stronger base for the party in pursuance of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“I further urged them to avoid divisive tendencies and rather forestall unity,_ she concluded.
