Police Arrest 25-Year-Old Herdsman For Stabbing Farmer In Edo

A 25 year old herdsman, Idris Ibrahim has been arrested by the police in Edo State.

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, SP Moses Joel Yamu, disclosed this on Monday in a post on X.

According to him, the suspect was arrested “for stabbing a 36yrs old farmer named Adi Benedith on the stomach.”

Adding: “The incident happened on 3/12/24 at the victim’s farm located at Ugbaiyon village along Benin-Agbor road.”

“Suspect will be charged to court,” he concluded.
