DELSU Has Received Students’ Loan Disbursement Of Over N350M –NELFUND

“Delta State University has received a students’ loan disbursement from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) totaling ₦392,876,550.00 (Three Hundred and Ninety-Two Million, Eight Hundred and Seventy-Six Thousand, Five Hundred and Fifty Naira).”
NELFUND said this on Sunday in a post on X, adding that a total of 1,854 students have so far benefitted.
NELUND noted that “this will alleviate financial challenges and support students’ academic pursuits.”
Meanwhile, the institution has commended NELFUND for its dedication to improving access to education in Nigeria.
In a letter to NELFUND, the Registrar of the university, Mrs. Rufina Ufiofio, said: “On behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Samuel O. Asagba, I formally acknowledge the receipt of the students’ loan disbursement from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND).”

According to her, the funding was received on 13th January 2026.
She continued: “This assistance will significantly alleviate the financial challenges faced by the beneficiaries, allowing them to concentrate on their studies.”
“We sincerely appreciate this support and look forward to continuing our collaboration towards the enhancement of educational development.
“Thank you,” the letter concluded.
