Erhimedafe Hails Oborevwori Over EXCO Approvals For Key Road Projects In Abraka

A member representing Delta Central in the Delta State Waste Management Board, Hon. Felix Erhimedafe, has commended Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for the approval of critical infrastructure projects in Abraka, Ethiope East Local Government Area.

Erhimedafe, who also serves as the State Assistant Organising Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), expressed appreciation to the governor for what he described as a timely intervention aimed at improving road infrastructure and development within the university community.

In a statement on Saturday, Erhimedafe thanked the governor for “remembering Abraka” through the approval of several projects during the recent Delta State Executive Council (EXCO) meeting.

According to him, among the projects approved by the state government is the completion of the long-abandoned Delta State University (DELSU) Administrative Block, a development he said would greatly enhance administrative efficiency in the institution.

He further disclosed that the construction of internal roads in Otorho community in Abraka was also approved, alongside the construction of Ogefere Street and Eseme Street.

Erhimedafe also noted that the rehabilitation of the old Abraka–Agbor Road has been completed, describing the development as a major relief for residents and road users in the area.

He commended Governor Oborevwori for his commitment to infrastructural development across the state under the MORE Agenda, noting that the approvals demonstrate the administration’s resolve to address the needs of communities.

“Thank you, our dear Governor, for remembering Abraka. May God grant all your heart’s desires and keep you and your family safe always,” Erhimedafe said.

The APC chieftain also appreciated the State Director of Protocol, Chief Sunday Onoriode, for his continued support and efforts towards the development of Abraka.

He urged Onoriode to remain focused on his good work and disregard critics who do not mean well for the community.

Erhimedafe reaffirmed the support of Abraka stakeholders for the ongoing development efforts of the Oborevwori administration and expressed optimism that more approvals that will benefit the area would follow.
