Bayelsa Prosperity Cup 2026: Ebizi Flags Off Female Semi-Finals
The Member representing Sagbama Constituency 3 at the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Hon. Chief (Mrs.) Ebizi Ndiomu Brown, earlier today officially flagged off the semi-final stage of the ongoing female category of the Bayelsa Governor’s Football Tournament – Prosperity Cup 2026.
The Prosperity Cup, widely regarded as one of Africa’s largest grassroots football tournaments, continues to promote unity, youth engagement, and talent development across Bayelsa State. With participation from over 257 teams, the tournament provides a vital platform for discovering and nurturing emerging talents at the community level.
The event, held at the Samson Siasia Sports Complex, is organized in collaboration with the Bayelsa State Ministry of Sports Development and also features international technical support, further enhancing its standard and global relevance.
