DELSU Fixes July 27 For Commencement Of Second Semester Examinations
ABRAKA, DELTA STATE — The management of Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, has fixed Monday, July 27, 2026, for the commencement of the Second Semester examinations for the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to a notice issued by the university, the examinations will run until Friday, August 14, 2026, while lectures for the semester will end on Friday, July 17.
The university also announced that a one-week revision period has been scheduled from Monday, July 20, to Friday, July 24, 2026, to enable students prepare adequately for the examinations.
As part of preparations for the exercise, the Director of Special Duties and Timetable has been directed to release the first draft of the examination timetable and venue allocations on or before Friday, July 10, 2026.

The management further instructed Deans of Faculties to ensure all necessary arrangements are put in place to guarantee a smooth and hitch-free conduct of the examinations.
Staff and students of the institution have been advised to take note of the approved schedule and comply with the directives to ensure a successful examination exercise.
