Participate Actively In Environmental Sanitation, Okonma Urges Okpanam Residents

The President of Okpanam Youth Organization (OYO), Comrade Fidelis Ogochukwu Okonma has stressed the need for residents in the community to continue to participate actively in environmental sanitation and sustain such participation so as to make Okpanam a cleaner and healthier community.
Comrade Okonma, who stated this in Okpanam while monitoring the rate of compliance, expressed satisfaction and said he was happy that the people had started taking environmental sanitation more serious than before.
He urged residents to always comply with the state government’s directives on environmental sanitation, just as he lauded their patriotism and dedication during the exercise.
Comrade Okonma commended the State Commissioner for Environment, Hon. Moses Ogodo , HRM Dr. Michael Mbanefo Ogbolu, the Ugoani of Okpanam Kingdom, the Director-General of Delta State Capital Territory Development Agency, Chief Patrick Ukah and the Chairman of Oshimili North Local Government Council, Hon. Innocent Esenwezie as well as the NDC House of Assembly candidate for Oshimili North Constituency, Comrade Ashinze Charles Obiodogwu, noting that their support and unwavering commitment led to resounding success of the exercise in the area.

He explained that their mobilization and active participation turned the environmental sanitation exercise into a huge success.
Comrade Okonma, however, enjoined the youths to display their remarkable energy and discipline while the traditional institution , council leadership and government representatives provided the needed direction and backing.
