The State Coordinator, Okowa Online Coalition, Comr. Godspower Asiuwhu, has said that the developmental strides as a result of Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa’s over two years in office as Governor of Delta State, will lead to a smooth ride for him for a second term, come 2019.
Asiuwhu made this remark while speaking to journalists after the group’s 2nd convention in Abraka with theme: ‘Okowa’s 2 Years in Office: The Impact of the SMART Agenda.’
Continuing, he opined that there is no vacancy in Osadebey House, saying that Okowa’s administration will run till 2023.
He urged all Deltans to go and register, saying that the PVC is their power.
According to him, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa Online Coalition was formed as an online platform to work for the interest of the Governor, come 2019.
He said: “We need to let the people know what he is doing because he cannot be everywhere at the same time.
“The coalition is spread across all communities in Delta State and we are also involved in drawing the governor’s attention to issues raised by Deltans.”
On the impact of the convention on the group, he opined that the event unveiled the success story of Okowa’s SMART Agenda and also helped strengthen the coalition, as members have become more informed about what the SMART Agenda represents.
