Ogboru’s Senior Aide, Urhukpe Weds
A senior aide to Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru, Rev. Johnson Urhukpe, has tied the knot with his heart-throb, Mariam Ufuoma Eyetan.
The wedding ceremony which took place yesterday at Goshen the Land of Glory Bible Church, Abraka, had in attendance family members, friends and well-wishers.

The reception followed immediately at Abraka Model Primary School, Abraka, and had political heavy weights from the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the state gracing the grandiose ceremony.
The long list of dignitaries includes: Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru, High Chief Godwin Ogboru JP, Sir Richard Odibo, Chief Ossai Abbey, Chief Alex Imarah and Chief Paul Aghwana.
During a brief chat with Oasis Magazine (OM), Rev. Urhukpe thanked God for making their dream a reality, saying that it was an unprecedented event, as he thanked God for the fair weather.
He said: “The most respected human rights activist in Delta State, Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru, his wife, Chief (Mrs.) Ebi Ogboru and all the big names from Lagos, Port Harcourt and all over Nigeria were present.”
He described his wife as a gift from God and wished that the union lasts forever, adding that God grants them grace to fulfill their destinies together.
“I am elated that the Ogboru family came in their large numbers to support me today. Many of them like Mr. Omuovie Ogboru were involved during the planning stage for the programme and even today,” he said.
