Uvwie Monarch Confers Chieftaincy Title On IPMAN Warri Depot Vice Chairman
The Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom, HRM (Dr.) Emmanuel Sideso, Abe 1, JP, OON, has honoured the Vice Chairman of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, IPMAN, Warri Depot, Mr. Anthony Ikogho with a chieftaincy title.
The colourful ceremony which took place at the temporary palace of the monarch in Effurun in commemoration of the 10th coronation anniversary of the Ovie, attracted family members, friends and well-wishers of the recipient.
Speaking to Oasis Magazine (OM), Mr. Ikogho described the ceremony as unique, adding that he was amazed that his deeds were taken notice of without him knowing.
He said: “This honour will spur me to do more.”
He wished the Ovie long life, protection and God’s guidance, as the royal father clocked 10 years since he ascended the throne.
The Ovie also conferred chieftaincy titles on a total of 28 persons.
