2019 DTHA: Guwor Emerges As PDP Flagbearer
Mr. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor has emerged as the flagbearer of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Warri South-West in the just concluded primary election for the Warri South-West Constituency seat in the Delta State House of Assembly, Oasis Magazine, can report.
Guwor in a tough contest slugged it out with former Commissioner for Environment, Mr. Frank Omare, the National President of the Centre for Peace &Environmental Justice, Comrade Sheriff Mulade, Mr. Sylvester Oromoni and Mr. Andrew Igba.
Guwor polled fifty eight (58) points while Comrade Sheriff Mulade got one point.
Frank Omare scored 10 votes while Andrew Igba also scored 51 points.
In a chat with newsmen, Guwor promised better representation of the People of Warri South-West saying, “I will carry all the ethnic groups along. I will make sure you are well represented and I will contribute to the peace in this area through proper legislation.
“I will also ensure that the elders, women and youths are empowered irrespective of the tribe you come from. Most importantly, the youths will be gainfully employed.
“I thank you all for the support to win the primary election. But I am still begging you my people to give me more supports so that i can win the main election for me to deliver the dividends of democracy to you.”
