Warri: Mulade Jubilates With New DBS GM, Oteri

A global peace ambassador and human rights activist cum an environmentalist, Chief Sheriff Mulade, has expressed delight over the elevation and appointment of Pastor Malcolm Oteri as the substantive General Manager of the Delta Broadcasting service, DBS, Warri, Delta State.
Comrade Mulade, the National Coordinator/ Chief Executive Officer, Centre for Peace and Environmental Justice, CEPEJ, appreciated God for giving the government the right wisdom in appointing Oteri to successfully take over as substantive General Manager of DBS Warri.
He as well commended Governor Okowa for such well deserved professional decision at appointing the right person in DBS Warri.
The CEPEJ National Coordinator/CEO described Pst. Malcolm Oteri as a true man of God discharging his duties according to God’s direction and power.
He assured him of continuous support in order to move the broadcasting establishment to higher platforms.
Chief Mulade who is also a traditional title holder from the great Gbaramatu Kingdom in Warri Douth-West, Delta state urged staff of DBS Warri to support the new GM to succeed.

According to Chief Mulade “PST Malcolm Oteri is a professional journalist/media manager. He is a very humble man because I am a fan of DBS both Warri and Asaba I will always support the establishment to prosper. Therefore, I appeal to others to support our own broadcasting station in order for us to reach out passing them as gate way.”
It would be recalled that two weeks ago, a release from the Delta State Ministry of Information, through the Permanent Secretary’s office read thus: “the Governor has also approved the confirmation of the appointment of Mr Malcolm Nnamdi Oteri as the substantive General Manager of Delta Broadcasting Service DBS, Warri.
“The board of both parastatals has been directed to issue a letter of confirmation of appointment to Mr Malcolm Nnamdi Oteri and Mr Francis Whyte Osabohien in deference to governor’s approval.
“Mr Malcolm Oteri shall assume duty as substantive General Manager with effect from September 1, 2020 while Mr Francis Osabohien will assume duty as General Manager, DBS Asaba on Saturday September 5, 2020.”
