EndSARS Protests: Ereyitomi Condemns Attacks, Urges Warri Residents, Others To Be Calm

The Honourable member representing Warri Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Chief Thomas Ereyitomi JP, has condemned in strong terms the shooting and killings of some of the ENDSARS protesters in Lekki, Lagos and other parts of the country.
He as well urged youths and residents of Warri federal constituency to be calm and obey the state government’s 48 hour curfew imposed to curtail the rising tension in the state.
Rep Ereyitomi advised members of his constituents especially the youths and others to be calm and shun anything that may lead to breakdown of law and other in the three Warri LGAs and beyond.
Chief Ereyitomi gave the advise recently following the uprising protest against the Special Anti Robbery Squad, SARS, a unit in the Nigeria Police who have allegedly gone beyond their operating limits thereby causing the present uprising protest across the country leading to their disbandment.

The Warri member of the Federal House of Representatives noted that, while citizens have the right to carry out protests it is to be done peacefully and within the confines of the laws of Nigeria, as he charged Warri constituents to remain peaceful and allow the already existing peaceful economic atmosphere among dwellers to thrive.
Chief Ereyitomi who is the voice of Warri South , Warri North and Warri South-West at the 9th National Assembly and also Deputy Chairman House of Representatives Committee on Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, assured of standing with the House on the ENDSARS matter by lending his voice to the issue in support of Warri federal constituency youths demands in the ENDSARS protest rocking the federation.
Hon. Ereyitomi further cautioned parents to give adequate guide and keep focus on their children in order for them not to be used to cause distortion to peace.
Spokesman to Chief Ereyitomi, Amb. Toyin Agbolaya a Justice of Peace in the statement enjoined Warri Federal Constituency residents not to be influenced negatively by the current EndSARS protest and appealed to young people to be vigilant and desist from any social vices.
