BREAKING: Ex-Gov, Dickson Wins Bayelsa West Senatorial Bye-Election

The immediate past governor of Bayelsa State and senatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Bayelsa West Senatorial District election, Mr. Seriake Dickson, has been declared winner of Saturday’s contest in the state.

Dickson defeated the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC),Peremobowei Ebebi.

Dickson polled a total of 115,257 votes to edge out his rival, Ebebi.

The APC candidate garnered 17,500 votes to come second in the keenly contested election.
