Two Delta Monarchs, Others Bag Isoko Mirror Newspaper Awards

The Ovie of Enhwe Kingdom, HRM. Anthony Onomuefe Efekkodha Ejizi II, the Ovie of Effuru-Otor Kingdom, HRM. Johnson .E.O. Duku II and others have bagged awards of excellence for their contributions towards the development of their kingdoms and communities in Delta State.
Others who also bagged awards include former Editor of Daily Times Newspapers, Chief John .O. Araka, His Honour Miakpo Emiaso, a retired Area Customary Court Judge and former Sub-Editor of Daily Times Newspaper, Chief Ogbemure Imene, Publisher of Urhobo-Voice Newspaper, the Managing Director of DESOPADEC, Askiah Ogeah and others.
In an address, the Chief Executive Officer of Fone-Media, Comrade (Dr.) Felida Essi said, “I want to call on all Isoko prominent politicians to come together and speak with one voice irrespective of their political affiliations so that Isoko as a nation can get its rightful place.

“It is imperative to stress here today that Heroes and Heroines of Development aimed at encouraging people who have immensely contributed to the development of society not to rest on their oars because it is obvious that, as we appreciate them, the zeal to do more will be in them so that every discerning mind would have a keen insight about the genuiness of this noble programme.”
Comrade Felida also called on government, corporate bodies and individuals to lend support to the youths who are creative and talented as part of their obligation to drastically reduce unemployment amongst the youths.
The Ovie of Enhwe Kingdom, HRM. Anthony Onomuefe Efekodha Ejizi II who spoke on behalf of the beneficiaries thanked the management of Fone-Media Integrated Company, Publishers of Isoko Mirror Newspaper for finding him worthy to be conferred with an award of excellence.
According to the reverred monarch, the award will spur him and others to always give back positively to the kingdom and society which they represents.
Highlight of the colorful event was the official unveiling of the Isoko Mirror Newspapers.
