TPDC Has Secured Approval From Gov Okowa To Commence Capacity Building For Teachers- DG

The Director General/Coordinator of the Teachers Professional Development Centre TPDC, Dr Anthony Dibashi, has revealed that the Governor of Delta State, Senator (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa, has given approval for the commencement of the training of Teachers in the state at the centre recently.
Dr Dibashi, who gave the hints at Owa-Oyibu , Ika North East Local Government Area, during a meeting with the staff of the Teachers Professional Development Centre, Owa Oyib.
According to Dr. Dibashi, the training would be experimental being the first training exercise to be held at the centre after the official commissioning of the Teachers Professional Development Centre.
Continuing, the DG stated that the TPDC had been set for the commencement of the training of teachers, adding that internal committees had already been constituted among the staff in preparation for the much expected capacity building.

He listed the committees to include Stteering, Registration, Monitoring and Evaluation, Protocols, Accommodation, Entertainment, Maintenance, Publicity, Sanitation and security, just as he charged members of the committees to put in their best for effective service delivery.
Dr. Dibashi, however, reaffirmed his commitments to ensuring that the takeoff training would be successful, stressing that the most dedicated and punctual staff would be rewarded.
