CHRISTMAS: Wife Of Delta Council Chairman Gives Out Money, Wrappers, Food Items To Aged Women In Isoko North

As Nigerians prepare for the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ and the merriment for which the season is known for, the wife of the Chairman of Isoko-north council, Deaconess Gloria Iteire has given out money, wrappers, bags of rice, gallons of groundnut, and other food items to aged women of the local government area.
Mrs Iteire who was accompanied to the twenty (20) State Wards that make up the Isoko north local government area personally gave out the items to the poor and suffering old women at their homes.
She explained that, the gesture, was borne out of her desire of rekindling hope amongst the aged women in Isoko north by bringing succour to them at the festive period for them to have a worthwhile celebration of the Christmas.
According to her, the free distributions of rice, wrappers, cash and other food items to the aged women was a demonstration of her abiding love, and for the aged women to have little to celebrate the season.
While appealing to public spirited and well-to-do individuals and organisations to support and complement the efforts of the Isoko north local government council, Mrs Iteire stated that, Christmas is not just about a time of festivities, but, a joyous season of generosity, kindness, gladness, and gratitude.

The aged women in their respond, expressed appreciation to the wife of the Chairman, Mrs Iteire and her husband, Deacon Christian Othuke Iteire for the kind gesture, and prayed for blessings and protection on them.
Others who accompanied the wife of the of the council boss, Mrs Iteire are the leader of the Isoko North Legislative Arm, Hon Udubra Francis, the Member Representing Bethel-Oyede Ward 18 in the Isoko North Legislative Arm, Hon Audrey Ofabor, the Chief Press Secretary to the Chairman of Isoko North Council, Mr Ajirioghene Oreh, the personal assistant to the Chairman, Mr Ovueferie Joseph , and Senior staff of the Council’s Department of Women Affairs and Community Development.
