BREAKING: Soludo Shuts Down All 21 LGAs In Anambra Till Further Notice
Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo has ordered a temporary shut down of the 21 Local Government areas in Anambra state till Wednesday, 13th April, 2022.
An official memo sighted by Oasis Magazine stated that the directive became necessary because LGA workers and facilities have become a target by unknown gun men.

“The state Executive council will be convened on Tuesday on emergency to take a decision if the shut down will be indefinitely. Pls ensure that all Local Government were closed down from henceforth till wednesday when SEC decision will be communicated to the workers,” the memo added.
Recall that Governor Soludo’s Local Government Headquarters, The Aguata Local Government Area headquarters, was attacked by arsonists, believed to be those widely referred to as “unknown gunmen” in the South-East.
The attack began Thursday afternoon and the council headquarters was set on fire by the attackers, who are believed to be the same people that attacked the market in the council, Eke Ekwulobia.
