Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo has ordered a temporary shut down of the 21 Local Government areas in Anambra state till Wednesday, 13th April, 2022.
An official memo sighted by Oasis Magazine stated that the directive became necessary because LGA workers and facilities have become a target by unknown gun men.

Recall that Governor Soludo’s Local Government Headquarters, The Aguata Local Government Area headquarters, was attacked by arsonists, believed to be those widely referred to as “unknown gunmen” in the South-East.
The attack began Thursday afternoon and the council headquarters was set on fire by the attackers, who are believed to be the same people that attacked the market in the council, Eke Ekwulobia.
