NYSC Reacts To Reported Rape Of Corp Member At Her Place Of Primary Assignment

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Osun State, has kept mum over the alleged rape of a Corps member by a hotel manager at her Primary Place of Assignment in Osogbo.
But police spokesperson Yemisi Opalola confirmed the incident, saying, “We have arrested the suspect. The Corps member was attached to the hotel where she was raped by a hotel manager named Joseph Adeleye. We will charge him to court very soon.”
Sources gathered that about seven corps members were attached to the hotel situated at GRA, Osogbo where the incident occurred.

However, when contacted, the state coordinator of NYSC, Sopeka Winifred, Reliable Sources on the phone, “Can’t you hear music playing in the background? We are having our parade drill in the camp now.”
Winifred neither responded to text messages nor took her call.
