DC-23 Congratulates Oborevwori, PDP On Supreme Court Victory
The Delta Central 2023 lobby group (DC-23) has congratulated Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Orohwedor Oborevwori on the supreme court Judgement that affirmed him as the validly elected Governorship Candidate of the PDP in Delta state.
DC-23 in statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Olorogun Arthur Akpovwovwo said the Supreme Court has finally settled the case after tortuous legal fireworks arising from the gubernatorial primaries.
According to the statement, “the foremost lobby group, Delta Central 2023 (DC -23) under our party’s platform the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), which championed the campaign for Delta Central to be supported and allowed to produce the Governor of Delta State come 2023 congratulate our Gubernatorial Candidate, Rt Honourable Sheriff Francis Orohwedor Oborevwori on his victory on Friday 21 October, 2022 at the Supreme Court.

“This victory is for all members of our great party and the leadership and entire membership of the DC-23 who toiled laboriously to convince all stakeholders of the party, traditional institutions, opinion leaders to support our noble and just cause of having an Urhobo of Delta central extraction as Governor come 2023.
“We use this medium to urge our party faithfuls to remain dedicated, loyal, committed and calm in the face of opposition trying very hard to cause dissatisfaction in our ranks and poach our members.
“We also use this medium to strongly appeal to all our members to put the intrigues, dissensions and altercations during the period of litigation behind so as to forge a common and formidable front to confront the opposition for all round victory for our great party the PDP in forthcoming general elections in 2023”, it added.
