Gabon: Fani-Kayode Says More Coups To Happen In Africa

After the military’s announcement of a coup in Gabon after Ali Bongo won a reelection,, former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, has said that it is certain that more coups will take place in African countries.
In a statement, he said: “We should expect more coups in the Francophone countries of West and Central Africa for the reasons I stated in that essay.”

Fani-Kayode who said he is not surpised with the development in Gabon, wondered if “ECOWAS or the African Union will threaten to invade Gabon too.”
