Udu President General Dispute: Why A Mediation Committee Was Setup – Djebah

Chief Luke Djebah ( JP ) has explained why a mediation committee was setup.

Djebah who is the President of Ufuoma Udu Association ( U.U. A ) spoke with our correspondent in an exclusive media chat on the issue at his Enerhen residence in Udu Local Government Area at the weekend as he explained that the committee was setup to avoid crisis in Udu Kingdom.

Djebah who is also the Publicity Secretary of Urhobo Progress Union ( UPU ) Worldwide noted that one of the aims of UUC was to foster peace and unity among the Udu people and as such it was the responsibility of the union to setup the mediation committee.

“It is no longer a secret in Urhobo Nation and indeed Delta State that Udu kingdom has 2 presidents general.

“It has never happen in the history of Udu Kingdom and if the issue is not resolved , it could lead to crisis ” he added.

Djebah who claimed that the setting up of the mediation committee has the blessings of the Udu monarch, listed members of the mediation committee to include : Engr Mike Orugbo JP ( Chairman ) , Engr Alex Neyin ( Alternate Chairman ), Chief Hon Jite Brown JP, Sir ( Chief ) Richard Odibo , Chief Hon Solomon Kpomah and Sir Pat Willie ( Secretary ) .
