Delta Police Arrest 6 Suspected Cultists, Recover Cut-to-size Gun, Others

Operatives attached to the Delta Police Command’s Bufallo squad have arrested six suspected cultists.
According to the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, in the state, SP Bright Edafe, who disclosed this via a post on X on Sunday, he added that the said policemen were on routine patrol along Ibusa Road when they intercepted a black GLK conveying six young boys.
Continuing he said that “upon searching the suspects and the vehicle, a locally made Cut-to-size gun, and two live cartridges were recovered.”

“Ordinarily, when people see police stopping random vehicles for a search, passersby will say police are harassing innocent youths,” he said.
“Our investigation has revealed that they are suspected members of Black Axe confraternity,” he concluded.
