Ogedegbe Declared Winner Of Ethiope East LG Poll
The Delta State Independent Electoral Commission (DSIEC) has on Saturday 13th July 2024 declared Augustine Ogedgebe winner at the just Ethiope East Local Government Chairmanship election.
Per the findings of the returning officer, Dr. Odia Omamuyovwi, it was reported that Ogedgebe who was the former SA of Delta State Governor on Peace Building and Intelligence Gathering of the PDP garnered a total of 36,635 votes in comparison to his primary opponent Oshevire Joseph Obukohwo of the APC, who received a total of 3,941 votes.

Furthermore, it should be noted that there are a total of 115,003 registered voters with 40,576 voters accredited for the election.
Dr. Odia also affirmed that the election process was conducted smoothly and credibly.
