Ogedegbe Receives New DPO Of Isiokolo Divisional Police Headquarters On Courtesy Visit
The Executive Chairman of Ethiope East Local Government Council, Hon. Chief Augustine Ogedegbe JP, on Monday, 8th June 2026, received the newly posted Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Isiokolo Divisional Police Headquarters, CSP Iziokhai Tunde Ambrose, on a courtesy visit to his office in Isiokolo.
Speaking during the visit, Hon. Ogedegbe warmly welcomed the new DPO to Ethiope East Local Government Area and congratulated him on his appointment.
He assured the police chief of the council’s readiness to collaborate with the Nigeria Police Force and provide the necessary support to enhance security across the local government.
The Chairman emphasized that peace and security remain critical to the development and progress of the area, noting that his administration is committed to working closely with all security agencies to ensure the safety of lives and property.

In his remarks, CSP Iziokhai Tunde Ambrose thanked the Executive Chairman for the warm reception and expressed appreciation for the council’s commitment to security matter. He pledged to work harmoniously with the local government, traditional rulers, community leaders, and other stakeholders to sustain peace, maintain law and order, and protect lives and property in Ethiope East.
The courtesy visit further reflect the importance of collaboration between the local government and security agencies in promoting a peaceful and secure environment for residents of Ethiope East Local Government Area.
