Atiku Loses Waziri Adamawa Title As Gov Fintiri Revokes Traditional Ranks

Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has revoked the traditional titles held by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, former Governor Boni Haruna, and others, including his own title, as part of the restructuring of emirates in Adamawa State.
During the coronation of the newly installed Chief of Madagali, Governor Fintiri announced that traditional titles previously conferred under the old jurisdictions were no longer valid.
He emphasized that all District Heads must now align with the newly created emirates and chiefdoms.
As a result of the directive, Fintiri relinquishes his title of Sarki Yaki Mubi, Atiku loses his position as Waziri Adamawa, and Haruna forfeits Makama Mubi, alongside others impacted by the changes.
