Koko Illuminates, As Canaan Land Sports Fiesta Kicks Off On Valentine’s Day

Come February 14, 2025 on the celebrated Valentine Day for lover birds worldwide, the port town of Koko shall play host to proven sportsmen and women, notably from the Niger Delta areas of the country.
Courtesy of Canaan Land Golf & Country Club, Koko, Delta state, shall be parade of a galaxy of local and national golfers drawn from Sapele, Warri ,Benin, Ikoyi, Port-harcourt and Bayelsa states in various categories of golf tournament’s as well as other indoor and outdoor games.
According to the event, while the noble men’s game of golf shall take prominence at the epoch Valentine sports meet, veterans and aces of the solid round ball and other sports are gearing up to D-day in Koko, to physically flex their ageing muscles at the sports outing.
On the line ups for the sports engagement are Golf, which is expected to tee-off early by 7,am and followed by the energy sapping Bicycle Race for riders to the awaiting applause of spectators.
Also to thrill guests at the Valentine sports duel is the ping-pong game of Table tennis, a smashing and and stroking spectacle like the Badminton, to be followed by the indoor game of Darts and the traditional Ludo and Eko mental plays.
Highpoint at eventful sports outing is the unveiling of the “UGOGOMEGE STATUE”, a symbol of peace, unity and love, on the rich culture of Koko town and its allure to prospective investors towards growth and development in the community.
In a chat with the man behind the aesthetic sports scenario. Mr, Felix Aganbi, said, this year’s Canaan Land Golf & Country Club event, is a complete upgrade of precious outings, noting that it’s uniqueness rests on the spectacular Valentine’s Day and inclusion of other sports activities in the package.
