Announcing the approval on his official Facebook page, Ogedegbe expressed delight over the initiative, describing it as part of his administration’s unwavering commitment to bring government closer to the people. He charged councillors to uphold transparency, accountability, and people-centred governance by executing projects that will have direct and lasting impact on the lives of their constituents.
This landmark initiative underscores the council boss’s conviction that sustainable progress begins at the grassroots, with every ward reaping the benefits of inclusive governance. It also aligns with Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s MORE Agenda, which prioritises meaningful development, opportunities for all, realistic reforms, and enhanced peace and security across Delta State.
